Vegan Energy Balls

We love to eat vegan chocolate at home for dessert but most of the time it’s very high in refined sugar. So I made some yummy vegan chocolate balls sweetened by medjool dates. This is very quick to make and you don’t need an oven, just a mixer or a blender!

INGREDIENTS

  • Mixed nuts (cashews, hazelnuts, almonds and walnuts)
  • Rolled oats
  • Peanut butter
  • Desiccated coconut
  • Almond milk
  • Cacao powder
  • Medjool dates

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Mix in a mixer one cup of mixed nuts, one cup of rolled oats, half a cup of peanut butter, 4 medjool dates, half a cup of cacao powder and half a cup of almond milk.
  2. Blend everything, scoop with a spoon and make it into a ball with your hands. Roll the balls on desiccated coconut and half of it on cacao powder.
  3. You can have this as a pre work out or after a meal as a dessert!
